Jigsaw's Ratings:
Pros: I live overseas in Korea working with the US military. I felt that A Love Beyond Borders went out of their way to work with me. They set up a reasonable payment plan for me, kept me updated at all times, and were knowledgeable about the process of adoption. After the earthquake, the agency kept me updated on my son's progress and worked with me to get him out of Haiti. I flew from Seoul on two separate occasions and met with my son the day after his second birthday. I felt Stephanie, Kelly, and the rest of the staff were in a situation that no one expected, but they all worked together with me to make it work. I have my son now! I am in the process of adopting a second child with their agency as well. Thanks, David Burkett

Cons: If there was a way to speed up the process, it would be great. There weren't any surprises along the way except the earthquake. No one expected the chaos or issues that followed, so having a contingency plan might be helpful for all agencies.

Reviews: Truthfully, I wouldn't have my family without the help of A Love Beyond Borders. I would recommend their organization to anyone who is interested in adopting especially if you are in the military or DoD.

laelh's Ratings:
Pros: We used A Love Beyond Border to adopt our little 5 year old daughter from Haiti. From the beginning they were available to answer every question and there were a lot of them! We felt supported and coached every step of the journey. They provided us with clear directions, resources, training opportunities and more. They were also very patient with our very tight budget and the fundraising we had to do all along the way to make each payment. During the earthquake they went above and beyond the call of duty. Some of the staff left their families and went to Haiti for sleepless days and nights to bring our children home from Haiti safety and did not rest until our children were placed in our arms. I consider them each personal friends and I would recommend them to everyone. Even since the adoption was finalized they have been awesome answering questions about bonding, language skills, etc. A Love Beyond Borders Rocks!!!

Cons: none

Reviews: Use the same ageny for everything. It really uncomplicates things! They did everything for us and that made the process so much smoother than some of our friends who were using multiple agencies for different parts of their adoption.
