parent1's Ratings:
Pros: We were reffered to AA automatically when our original agency closed and after our dossier had been submitted and approved. Other than holding our file while we continue to wait on a referral, AA has not really done anything on our file to our knowledge.

Cons: After being automatically assigned to AA, we have been hit with an array of fees and which do not appear related to any work on our case, as to our knowledge no work has been done by AA on our case. When we have asked AA if they have any documents from our original file, they have acted as if it was a great bother to actually look at our file.

Reviews: AA is very aggressive about raising and imposing fees, which has been especially troublesome to us since we essentially have no choice-if we pull our file, we lose everything we have spent to date and start all over with our dossier.

quackylove4u's Ratings:
Pros: I liked their homestudy services. They were a little pricey, however thorough and quick. The homestudy process and communication prior to picking a specific country program was great. It was once we were assigned to a country and a different office that the communication was missing and the "pushing families (the numbers) through" feeling became apparent.

Cons: I should first say that my experience with this agency is dated from 2000/2001. That said, I found the communication to be lacking with this agency. It was difficult to get my phone calls and emails returned. My husband and I both felt like we were just another number in their data book. We did not receive the personal attention that I need (some could say I'm high maintenance)! I know what I need though. We chose to leave the agency and our deposit.

Reviews: Try to know what you need from an agency and ask them upfront if they can be that for you. If they hesitate, move on and find the agency that can meet your needs.
