Child from Kembatta, Ethiopia
Cons: This agency falsified documents on a very special needs child( Microcephaly, Cerebral Palsy, Left lobe brain Cyst, seizures, food aversion, blindness, crippled feet and legs, tremors, sleep disorder and memory loss) The documents that went through an Ethiopian court stated that this is a very healthy child. We never received medicals or a referral on this child, ever! When I returned home with this child the Agency refused to take any responsibility for their actions and inactions. They tried to ignore me, I'm assuming until statute of limitations ran out. They continue to underestimated the lengths to which we will go for justice.
Reviews: In my opinion they are very corrupt! I can not ever recommend this agency to anyone.

Child from Cedar Park, Texas, United States
Pros: Our children came home exceptionally healthy. They were very much loved and adored while in the transition home, waiting for us to pick them up. The CWA staff were diligent to send us photos of the twins on a monthly basis and give us updated information as requested.
Cons: We would have liked to have had more frequent communication from our case manager. We know that this was simply an issue with our particular case manager and not an issue across the board. We wish that we'd been given an itinerary of things to do while in country. We would have liked for the process to move faster-we accepted our referral in late September and didn't pick them up for our Embassy appt. until July 1. Seemed to take much longer than it should have...
Reviews: Overall, we were pleased with CWA and are thankful for them.
