Pros: We chose to use Connecting Hearts Adoption Services for our home study as they came recommended to us. After calling around and gathering information, we deterimed that Connecting Hearts had the most reasonable rates and made this process as simple as possible. We had read so much about how troubling the home study can be and we were anxious. Amy Imber is the Director and made this process simple and comfortable. She assured us that she would not be "judging" us and she certainly did not. The focus of our visit was adoption education and boy did we learn a lot. In the end, Amy gave us the name of several agencies, attornies and consultants. We decided to use a consultant that she recommended and 6 months later, we are parents. Connecting Hearts played a huge part in our successful adoption and we highly recommend them for any domestic adoption home study.
Cons: Only con would be that this agency does not place children for adoption so we took their home study and used it elsewhere. They are a home study only agency.
Reviews: The agency makes the home study easy as all the forms and instructions are found online.
