Pros: Educational process is great.
Very thorough screening of birthmothers.
Great contacts to legal professionals across the country.
They work with birthmothers and adoptive families across the country.
Extremely ethical and honest all the way through.
Excellent support during the process.
Child's Age: 0y 0m
Start Date: May 2004
Completion Date: Feb 2005
Time Until Placement: 9 months
Type: Open, Domestic, Intrastate
Special Needs: Yes
Child from California, United States
Cons: Not a full service agency, so they cannot do homestudies or finalization. (But I was forced to rate them on homestudy process, so I gave them a 10).
Reviews: Pact is absolutely amazing! They are a non-profit facilitator. They also provide ongoing educational and supportive services to all who adopt through them as well as others who adopt transracially. They only place children of color. They are incredibly thorough and ethical.
